Honor Code Commitment
Brigham Young University is founded, supported, and guided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Like all universities, BYU has standards of conduct for which students commit to follow as part of their decision to attend the university. BYU’s standards of conduct help to accomplish the CES mission to build disciples of Jesus Christ.
In order to register for classes, students must complete a 15-minute module that reviews the CES Honor Code and other related policies that are part of one’s commitment when they decide to enroll, or continue enrollment at BYU. This module must be reviewed annually.
If you are planning to graduate soon, please be aware that you must have an active Honor Code Commitment on the day of graduation for the semester/term you are graduating for your degree to post. If your Commitment is going to expire prior to this day, then you must renew it.
If you have completed the Honor Code Commitment module in the past, you can see its expiration date at mymap.byu.edu
